Russo Fire Provides full service of Fire Alarm Systems from single zone panels to multiple zone addressable systems with Emergency Voice Communications (EVC).

New Installations:

The installation of a new Fire Alarm system in a building (either new construction or existing building) follows a general sequence of steps. Megaflex can provide all or some of these steps based on the customer’s needs and requirements. These steps are as follows:

System Design and Approval Drawings (for permit submission) :

The first step is to design the Fire Alarm system layout as required by applicable codes. This determines the type of Fire Alarm Systems required as well as the location and quantities of detection and signaling devices. This is done up in the form of a scaled drawing that is submitted to the Building Department for approval and issuance of a permit.

Installation of the Panel and Devices :

Once drawings are approved and a permit has been issued, can perform some or all of the installation work. We can supply and install the Panel and devices only, or do a complete installation of all equipment and wiring.

Inspection and final approval :

Once the installation is complete and a final verification performed, the AHJ is called in for final sign off of the work. We can provide verification services as well as “3rd Party Verification” as requested by the AHJ.

Retrofit Work :

Retrofit work is similar to as new installation but on a much smaller scale. Retrofit work is performed when the building has an existing Fire Alarm system that needs to be upgraded or expanded to fit new building areas or requirements. It follows the same basic steps as in a new installation except the new equipment installed must be compatible with the existing.
